India Mobile Congress
2022 is one of Asia's largest digital technology platforms. The sixth edition
of the event that opened on 1st October was held at Pragati Maidan in New
Delhi. To celebrate the introduction of 5G mobile services in India, Prime
Minister Narendra Modi test-driven a car in Europe through a video link from
New Delhi. While attending the opening of the India Mobile Congress 2022, the
prime minister introduced the service. Mr Modi operated the car via 5G
technology at the Ericsson stand during the India Mobile Congress, even though
the car was in Sweden. The car's controls in India were able to communicate
with the vehicle on another continent only because of 5G technology.

telecom operators said that Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Chandigarh, Chennai, Delhi,
Gandhinagar, Gurugram, Hyderabad, Jamnagar, Kolkata, Lucknow, Mumbai, and Pune
are among the 13 cities that have received the services in the first phase, the
technology will be made available throughout the entire nation in the next two
years. And the spectrum was distributed to the telecom operators as follows:
